Where did that piece of crap go--
[ the video is dark, showing nothing but the ceiling of what looks like the hospital-- that is, until the device is somewhat hastily picked up and a very stressed looking dr. chase appears on the feed. appearance disheveled and some rather dubious looking marks down the front of his scrubs that told a story of tending to a lot of injuries, it certainly looked as if he'd seen better days. ]
It looks like things have calmed down a little- less people are turning up, at least- but I know that there'll still be those that are in need of medical attention. If you've been attacked or something, it's probably a good idea to haul ass down here before the doctors collapse.
[ he goes to run a hand through his hair and pauses midway, looking in slight disgust at something on his palm. ]
Jeez. To think that a small implant could make people go this batshit...
... christ. I'd give my left leg for a coffee after all this.

... eugh. You know it's never gonna be a good day when you wake up to the sound of dudes smashing stuff up outside. It seems that there's some sort of epidemic spreading around-- and I'm going to safely assume it has nothing to do with the zombies-- so now we just have to figure out just what the hell is causing it. Never thought I'd say this, but it's kinda nice being back at work-- well, as close to work as you can get when you're stuck in a place that makes you feel like you're tripping half the time. I'm glad that I can be of some use at the hospital, though... and dude, that crash cart I found makes a waaaay better bed than the floor. Maybe it's a good thing this palm-pilot wannabe doesn't have Tetris on it like my last one did. Gives me less chance to daydream on the job, right? If by daydream, you mean trying to beat your hi-score with gnarly coloured blocks that is. [ the video is kinda shaky, like whoever is filming it isn't very capable with things like the communicator-- either that, or they're currently distracted by something else entirely, and paying little attention. [ you hear some panting as if someone is out of breath after a long run-- obviously, someone that hasn't spent long in the gym lately. ] -- what the hell were those dudes? Has Halloween come early this year, or what? [ a pause as he attempts to catch his breath. ]And, more importantly, where is this? When I woke up, I thought I'd totally overdone it at the staff party last night and ended up in a ditch somewhere- it's, uh, happened before, at least- but I don't remember any gnarly zombies chilling there. If there had been, ... is this all to do with GUILT? Or is it just a mean costume party? |
